The Drill Doctor DD500XC drill bit sharpener is a user-friendly and durable machine for accurately sharpening and restoring different types of drill bits. The sharpener is suitable for drill bits with diameters ranging from 2.5 to 13 mm and features adjustable sharpening angles of 118° and 135°.
The DD500XC can also create a split point, also known as a cross-ground point. This improves drill bit centring, reduces the required feed pressure and helps prevent the drill bit from wandering when starting a hole.
The machine is suitable for roll-forged HSS drill bits, HSS-Cobalt drill bits, standard HSS drill bits, as well as masonry and concrete drill bits. The precision drill bit alignment holder makes it easy to centre each drill bit correctly and sharpen it evenly.
