The C-Line 150 mm steel marline spike is a practical hand tool for opening and separating strands in ropes and cordage. This makes the marline spike suitable for splicing, repairing and maintaining ropework aboard ships and in other maritime environments. The tapered, pointed tip can be inserted between the rope strands without causing unnecessary damage to the material. The wider end features an opening for attaching a wrist strap or safety lanyard.
